With the focus of attention very much on quality and customer service the Leeds based skopes menswear brand is certainly on the up. The progression of the company under the management of Simon Cope has been recognised by Skopes being included in the top 100 fastest growing companies in Yorkshire & Humberside. The criteria for inclusion stipulated that of the last 4 years turnover, the companies must have a minimum turnover of one millions pound. 7,000 companies were researched and the top 100 got into the list. With only two clothing companies making the top 100 skopes are rightfully proud of their achievement.
The inclusion however was not a total shock. Skopes have been investing heavily in the business for a number of years. The company expanded its warehousing and premises only 3 years ago but has recently added a further 10,000 sq ft. due to increasing demand & new ranges.
With the move to state of the art premises comes a re-branding of the Company due to be launched at MODA 2005. The long established name stayed the same but the creative identity of the company was thoughtfully re worked to create a slicker more contemporary feel. The new brand is being rolled out across the divisions and includes new marketing tools for customers such as Interactive CD presenters and high quality photography and point of sale, not to mention a re-fit of the 3,000 sq ft. Flagship retail store at the Freeport village Castleford used to test stock and trial new lines.
The company has also recently appointed design and marketing agency Fantastic Media to manage the brand and raise awareness, further allowing them to return next year in the top 50. |
